The rumors are the Knicks are looking at a sign and trade of David Lee to the Warriors for Monta Ellis. Does Monta Ellis and Amare make this team a playoff contender? Hell No. But if they are able to sign Carmelo next season(Big If) then that 2012 pick is not going to be very good as Ellis,Amare, and Melo may not be a championship team but they will rack up some serious wins in the East unless something changes.
On the premise that Lebron doesn't shock everyone by taking the Knicks, I think I've really overestimated them. I thought the Knicks worst case scenario was Amare/Johnson. I honestly did not expect them to end up with only one true max player. Not to mention that guy plays the same position as their all-star last year. I thought the Knicks floor in 2011 would be a .500 team in the East. But now, it seems like the dream scenario has come true. And that we really can trade in for a top 10 pick. I'm not even that greedy. The same pick Utah had last year works with me.
No way Lebron will sign with the Knicks. Like Morey say, nobody is going to give up $30 million and go somewhere unless your name is Bosh (who is pretty stupid). It does look like the Knicks picks are getting more valuable. This is going to be great.
is it wrong i hope someone pokes amare's eye? ....and then it heals and he is 100% fine AFTER the season of course
Fixed.. I'd be okay with a 13th-16th pick, It would definitely be better than our's which will be around late 20's  --RB
knicks sign raymond felton and mike mller and retain david lee and now have bosh they are pretty good..i mean still a mid level pick for us though... if they loose david lee out right...then they will prob do something crazy like sign boozer to max deal or someone worse than him
Really? First, LBJ could very well still go to NY and second, Melo or Ellis makes them a 45 win team in the LEastern Conference.
