He was 29 at the time. I'm not sure how you can believe a 29-year-old man showered with a 16-year-old girl and wouldn't have made physical contact with her. I'm not saying he absolutely did, but assuming the shower part is true, he'd already crossed a huge line. And the "did a lot of good things for a lot of people" argument doesn't absolve someone of wrongdoing in other matters.

KJ dunk & Pippen on Ewing dunk. Perhaps my 2 favs of all time. As absolutely anti-Rockets-fan as that may sound.

My mind immediately went to KJ…Martin.
    Definitely not a 99er.

You're right. I misremembered his age as well.

I read up on the story after my initial post. Her account is cringe-worthy to say the least. But according to her, he washed her body with a bar of soap and the two never had intercourse.

Of course all of that is wrong on many, many levels.

I guess I have a problem with the way this board worships some and denigrates others--even current and former Rockets. KJ was by most accounts a pretty stand up dude. Just trying to point that out was all.

Read this thread title as "KPJ" so I was confused as to when Horry and Olajuwon were both in the locker room last season.

Watch Robert Horry Interview, KJ didn't work hard in practice, he didn't talk to anybody, KJ got sensitive when the Sun's got Jason Kidd and Steve Nash and KJ didn't come to Practice.

The fact that you posted the actual video of the dunk is as disrespectful as that pervy dwarf was to Dream. We didn't need to see it again.

which shows they'll blindly let anyone lead the city. no wonder the refs rigged the lakers to win in 2002, no respect.

This it he biggest story of all time. I think we should cancel next NBA season so ESPN and the rest can have time to discuss this without being bogged down by other NBA news. Great find.

While we're speaking of disrespecting The Dream Hakeem Olajuwon... you CAPITALIZE the D in Dream. That's his basketball gods given name. For Pete Chillicut's steak, man! Get it right!

The nerve of people on this website... yeah JW86... we're gonna take your opinion over Robert Horry's story... yeah okay. The Kenny story can still be true, then KJ took it too far. Why even put your statement out like that doubting Horry? What's in it for you?

Why are there so many doubters out there?

    Doctor of Dunk,

Thank you for this post. I went through and watched all the way to the end because of it. There's a lot that Robert says that's worth listening to. It brought back happy memories of being a basketball fan.

    Thanks again,
    -Don G

Don't go tinman...who said anything about doubting? Some of you have serious PTSD as Rockets fans with people underestimating, doubting, not wanting to give the team credit etc :D

    Dude totally hitched a ride.

Hakeem- “Yeah sure I’ll sign it, can you sign these photos of me hoisting the championship trophy”?
