This game was crazy... Jacoby after halftime set the pace for the Ravens. That's at least 3 former Texans who got rings tonight, Vontae Leach, Benard Pollard, and Jacoby no fair catch Jones. fml Kubes gotta go #protocol

The ball bounced off his chest before he made that touchdown "catch". Not exactly a pair of sure hands but a a good heads up run.

jacoby will never have sure hands, hes a deep threat and he can pull in those bombs. if you need a short gain with a tough catch in traffic and he wont catch a cold.. flacco knew when he needed to extend a drive he was going after boldin..

the deep balls are easier for jacoby because he can let them get into his chest..

I am glad for them all but I am getting tired of seeing our former players going somewhere else to win a championship. Brad Lidge, Lance Berkman and now the guys named above.

    Should've kept him.

    No doubt about it.

he needed a change of scenery...look for old jacoby to rear its ugly head sooner than later...Time was worn out in Houston and that drop was a huge moment in his career in Houston...Glad he got to redeem himself making huge...huge plays in the playoffs...big time plays...The Denver game TD was ridiculous...and he did it again tonight...and returned a Kickoff for another as well...great game for the Hometown kid...its what you dream about....

I'm just wondering why our special teams coach still has a job.

im sure this happens with every city..

when we let a guy walk and he becomes a super star and wins a ring as a main guy like drew brees did after san diego let him walk then well have something to worry about.. the cardinals, phillies, ravens, & sfgiants would have all still won rings without our former players..

ravens would not have won the ring w/o jones.. he made huge plays in many many many games. Broncos game, 49ers game etc...

any ways, I think its on coach for not bringing out the best of Jones. Kubiak is a horrible coach, no emotion or anything of that sorts.

Jacoby now has sure hands and a superbowl ring. If all the negative rednecks hadn't run him out of town he could of been a positive player on the Texans.

jones is the same player he was in houston. the fans just vilified him for one mistake. i'll keep saying it. he wasn't the reason the texans lost in the playoffs last year.

His historical touchdown run won the championship for the Ravens, as well as taking that emergency ward hit and somehow retaining possession. 108 yards in 11 seconds. Damn.

you cant just remove him from the situatrion and assume everything goes the same way it did.. he made a couple plays, plays that someone else would have made had jacoby signed with the chiefs or something.. jacoby is their 3rd WR, saying they wouldnt have won it without him is nonsense.. their defense got healthy at the right time and flacco played spectacular football and was tossing TDs left and right..Boldin caught everything thrown his way..

31 catches, 2 touchdowns last year... 30 catches, 1 touchdown this year. Same guy. Was he the reason the Texans lost last year? Not entirely. But by that same premise, folks can't give him all the credit for the Ravens winning this year. Bottom line is that he has boom-or-bust qualities, and they bit the Texans last year and worked to Baltimore's advantage this year. Luck evens out.

Overall, he's the same guy he always was: very good at special teams and below average as a receiver. Could that help the Texans? Maybe, though Danieal Manning was just fine as a return guy in the playoffs. Bottom line is that the Texans desperately need a playmaking WR behind Andre Johnson. Jacoby wasn't that a year ago and still isn't today, and the Texans still need to find it somewhere else.

He bobbled the ball on one of the punt returns, but luckily for him and the Ravens, none of the Niners got down the field to make him pay. It's samo, samo Jones.
