I want to compete in a figure competition but in order to do that, I need to drop body fat and build more muscle. I'm so overwhelmed with information that is out there. I considered getting a coach to help me through it but they cost like a 1k just to get in shape and their competition packages is another 1k. Hubby said I should drop body fat and tone up first before thinking about preparing for a competition and he is right. I have protein powder, BCAA, casein protein powder and jack3d at home. What is the difference between BCAA and Amino Acids? I know that the nutrition is 80% so gotta start eating more cleaner and cut alcohol (i don't really drink in first place, only occasionally). my biggest issue is eating late on week days. i don't eat until 8pm. i go to the gym at 5, then cook dinner then walk the dog at 7 or 7:30pm. i do drink a protein shake after the gym so it fills me up until 8pm. on my non gym days, i wait until 7pm to walk the dog. i eat afterwards. Help!! I want to be a Jamie Eason, Ava Cowan or Jennifer Nicole Lee!!

Adazare, I don't know my BMI. Based on the online calculator, it is between 18.5 and 24.9. I will try to get it checked at the gym tomorrow. LF, I am a weight lifting gal. I've never done yoga or pilates. I would assume her body is very lean, no? I think this plan is more what I would like to do. Yes, very lean and toned out. Not muscular really at all as that's not something she's in to. She does have the perfect body for a bikini and I will enjoy this starting Thursday on vacation. Edit- Looking at that link, that's pretty much her physique. We both eat healthy for the most part but she still has the chocolate cravings, she just works it off the next day. She's frickin' anal about keeping fit and keeping her BMI way down but in the healthy range.
