The reason she told you that she just got dropped off somewhere and she doesn't know the location is because that gives her time to cheat on you with that dude.

I would have had a major problem with it too. Your wife is wasted and the dude won't bring her home first when you live right down the street? That's not gonna fly. Also...85 lbs.? Is your wife anorexic?

There's no way someone can be lost in any urban area if they have their phone, drunk or not. The panic alone should be very sobering, and unless she was in the woods she should have enough sense just to walk to where there's lights, and most likely, cops. Why would she not be answering her phone? If she's lost and scared of course she would want to keep her husband on the line. Unless this is the booniest of S.A. boonies she should be on the phone as much as possible.

Technology can find a lone girl lost at sea, there's no reason something like this has to take place.

The last thing I would be doing during a set of events like this is posting on ClutchFans, assuming that everything you're saying is legit.

I wouldn't rule out thadeus' theory, esp. since you say the guy was her friend. Even if you went off on him over the phone, I doubt he would leave a friend on the side of a street.

 

There are so many possibilities here that without knowing all the facts, every guess is as good as another.

It could very well be that this guy is doing your wife and the whole story is bogus.

OR

The women drank too much and became very irritating but the guy wants to be a gentleman and give them a safe ride home ---- until an angry or crazy guy (WITH BUTCHER KNIVES) starts threatening him on the phone at which point he has had enough.

Hopefully everything will be (at least relatively) OK.

 

So what happened? Did you find out if your wife cheated on you?

 

If he did nothing wrong, why would he be afraid to drop her off a few houses away from her home? This way he avoids the angry husband and gets her home safely.

Like some others have said, she probably had this planned from the start. She might have a rational explanation that might be acceptable, but if it was me.....I would kick her out.

 

Be careful with them knives.
