Rep? You want rep? You changed this story around quite a few times. Instead of rep, I'll give you some advice......

^^ Like THIS is the kind of attention I want. I completely regret making this thread and unfortunately as a new member around here, this is what I'm going to be known for if I stick around and keep posting.

You did. I read just your posts only through the entire thread. I do, feel sorry for you. I actually was reading it with my fiance and she agreed that we have a friend that often pulls the stuff your chick pulled. Good luck finding some peace of mind with it all.

So which is it? You believe my story, or don't you? I'm still trying to figure out where I "changed my story several times". Maybe it's best if I leave this board in shame.

I believe your story. However, I don't believe your wife's story. That said, you guys have kids together and you need to make your marriage work for their sake. Looking for advice from us was your biggest mstake.

LOL there is NO WAY you should be blaiming your wife's friend. She isn't a freaking babysitter, if you wife can't take care of herself then she shouldn't go out.
That women has problems of her owns and was probably **** faced as well, not sure why she shouldn't drink or have a good time to take care of your girl like she was 8 years old..

The only fault is on your girl, not on her friends (man & woman). Your responsible for your own actions, nobody else is. So stop trying to point fingers.

Great post. There is nothing inherently wrong with going out with friends for a drink and having your spouse watch the kids. I'm surprised people still subscribe to this old school thinking.

The only reason this night didn't go smoothly is because questionable people were involved. Which may be the friends, the wife, or both. But then again any situation with questionable people are bound to go wrong.

yeah....sounds to me like they were ALL too drunk. That's why the guy didnt have the common sense to drop of his wife first if she lived closer. He was drunk. That's also probably why he dropped her off at the wrong place. He was drunk and thought it was her house, assuming he even knew what her house looked like. Since she was ALSO drunk she probably thought it was her house too and got off. Then realizing it wasnt, proceeded to call her husband. she then drunk walked around the neighborhood, falling on her face. Probably stopping somewhere to sit, then got up without realizing she left her purse and keys there, and walked off to fine her house. Notice how she lost her purse and keys, but not her phone.

And if this one event drives you to take out two butcher knives and consider divorce or something, well then you both probably have other bigger issues worrying you. Maybe that's why she went out without you and got drunk. It's what women do when they want to get away and forget about life for a while.

When wifey called to say she'd had too much to drink, OP should have guessed that her friends were toasted too. That was the time to arrange the cab. Especially since he didn't like the guy who would most likely be driving -- and it was unlikely he was totally sober.

When she called from the side of the street, he should have, as Batman said, kept her on the phone, and had her walk until she found an address or intersection. Then...put the kids in the car, and get her, or have a neighbour sit the kids and go get her, or arrange to have someone else get her.

Or he could arm himself with cutlery and post on clutchfans.

Thanks for he entertaining thread. Next time -- look after your family ;) -- and good luck  Sounds like an awful experience for everyone except those of us reading along for fun.

Well, i know the few times my wife goes out without me, i tell her if anything is wrong call me and i'm coming to get her. I tell my 18 yr old the same thing. I never trust anyone to get my family home. If u wouldve handled the guy better, ur wife wouldve been brought home and not put out. Why would he bring ur wife home and ur talking crazy to him?

Good to see you give your 18 a sense of security if they do actually drink and is too impaired to drive instead of him/her risking it.
