Oh so it has running water? Who was the idiot engineer that designed that over the traditional toilet? That's just r****ded. I've used far more primitive facilities in undeveloped parts of Mexico.
They say this is actually a cleaner design compared to traditional toilets, I still prefer to sit down thank you very much.
I'm guessing that can in the corner is for toilet paper - ie you can't flush it down the toilet. That was something I had to get used to in Mexico, also. Nothing like that scent piling up in the corner for a couple of days. Really gets the morning started on the right foot.
No you can flush toilet paper(how else do you suppose your waste get flushed?) I think that is just your typical waste basket like we have here in the states.
No, in many developing countries, the pipes aren't equipped to handle the toilet paper being flushed down. You can flush the rest of your goodies, but you have to put the tp in the trash can. Some septic tank systems can be the same way.
Not the kind of clearance I'm referring to - I'm talking about getting a more full "relief" which leaves you feeling more "empty" (Jorge, don't you have problems with this? Perhaps you should have one built into your apartment if your complex so allows) As for the strain, it just takes some quad strength, with which I am blessed.
Ha YOu know I actually own that celebriduck? (horrible game, a disaster home loss vs. NYK) I'll just bring it to the counter and point....
