27-year-old professional with a full beard here. So much easier to deal with, plus it looks great. I'd always look blue rare after shaving, so it was an easy decision.
I've had my beard since my last US visit, which I think was Feb 06, think it came off for a week and then went back again, mostly I keep it neat and tidy and my neck shaved, all up sometimes it feels like it can take more time to manage than shaving, although i wasn't a everyday shaver... don't think it hurts my professional career, as long as it is neat and tidy, i think it looks great and suits me, saw some photos the other day or me clean shaven, which looked so weird......
I've been growing a Grizzly beard since late October for the winter. I'm a college student so it's all good, but I don't think I would grow it out this long if I had a professional job.
Hardly anybody has been in the office the past couple of weeks so I've been growing the grizzly adams beard, I'll probably shave it off this weekend. A couple of times a year I'll grow an Amish style beard for a while, and even when I'm not growing a beard I'll only shave once or twice a week so I'm always scruffy.
