I just spent 30 minutes IMing with an old college friend who I haven't seen in years. I had a thing for her when I was 21. I convinced her to come to my house next weekend. (She lives in NYC) Me... IMing online. I feel like a 17 year old who just got AOL 2.5 all over again Suddenly, its 1995. Oh, and the CFO of the company I'm here to see tracked me down 30 minutes ago. He called every hotel in the town (all 3) and found me. He invited me to dinner with his family at his house. When I kindly declined, he insisted to come to my hotel at 7am tomorrow for breakfast. If I'm not posting in the next 24 hours... send for the cops for my brown ass.
I drove around. No hotel bar. Just a buffet. The local bar is actually a trailer off the highway. I went there once, and it was empty. There have to be hot chicks somewhere, right?
Actually it could be even worse....He could be an INDIAN dude stuck in PAKISTAN, especially in the Kashmir region. BTW, I am Indian....sort of. My family comes form the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago. But my mom is Muslim and my dad is Hindu so naturedly I look Indian, though some Latin’s think I'm Mexican for some reason..... I do road trips many times...to Colorado, California, Florida...and get many looks many times after 9/11. Mind you, I'm NOT sporting the trendy "Sikh look" with turban and all, just jeans, a t-shirt, and a razor smooth bald fade that attracts the honey's. I too am not use to "the look" as I am from New York and now live in Houston, two very diverse towns. I am assuming your by yourself in the hick town so my advise is to just ignore the mofos and go about your business and have tons of fun while your at it. Go to the bar, pick up there local chicks and takem back to the hotel, in front of there faces. Nothing pisses racists off more then to see the person of the race they discriminate against, succeed.
You probably havent eaten the right stuff kid...when cooked correctly, its the bomb! I know all the urban yuppies who like to eat "exotic foods" can back me up on this one....

I like to go to Indian buffets for lunch sometimes. I like the food. The problem, though, is that the food stinks up your clothes the entire rest of the day. You don't smell good after you eat it. Plus the cheapos that usually run those restaurants don't turn up the AC enough and it's always hot inside.
What's the difference? Please explain, because if I am not mistaken, are Pakistanis and Indians, historically speaking, the same people? So don't they eat the same food, use the same spices, etc.?
I asked my Indian friend what the difference between Indian and Pakistani food was. He said that the foods are similar except the Paki's don't wash their hand prior to preparing the food.
LMAO .. bwahaha that's awesome. I am Indian too, and drapg, it could be worse. You could be stuck in customs with smelly Pakis (NO OFFENSE). I swear, those dudes used curry for deodorant!
