This is the correct answer. Go to Surfhouse and tell them what you're looking for and they'll set you straight. I bought my first board from Surfhouse around 1981. Good luck.
And here's the last board I owned: I'm not looking to go back to 8th-9th grade, I can't afford a bike, and I have no room to move a bike either up to school or back to Houston from school. There are no half-pipes in my future or anything of the sort. I just want something relatively small and easy to get around campus. And if I get back into it again, so be it, but that's not what I'm looking for here. And thanks, VooDooPope. I'll check them out.
If you're near Kingwood go to Alley Cats skate shop and tell Larry to give you a 'Yeee' discount on a board.
What's that? I'm nowhere near Kingwood, but if its worth my while I'd go up there. I will....gotta gimme some time, though.
