I was walking out of the parking lot at my gym and this large looming silhouetted figure is coming toward me. Then he turned to go up the stairs and I saw the haircut. So I said, "Ron Ron I just want to thank you for playing hard" "I'm on Clutchfans all the time and we are discussing your future." He said he wanted to be back, with Yao back. I said "and Tmac should be back by April" (he asked again when I thought and I repeated, April? ) His reaction was hard to judge but I wouldn't say it was enthusiastic. He came back down the stairs to shake my hand. Then like the flustered fanboy I am I said "How about 4 years at 37?" He said "that sounds good" (well hell yeah it does, I way over paid!)
Haha, hopefully Morey doesn't do his "Dubious fanboy" impersonation when he's negotiating with Ron this off-season.

You know it was just the figure that jumped in my head because of the Sacramento deal, I was just making conversation. Who doesn't blow a little smoke when they meet someone famous.
Maybe he thought you were crazy because April was last month or April 2010 would be way past schedule. Or it could be because there is a possibility (small possibility) that he could be ready at the beginning of the season. According to Morey as of this morning, TMAC is ahead of schedule.
