Isn't the reason you started this thread because you're too fat? Kettle calling the pot black.

I've never seen anyone. Even complete beginners ask as many questions as you do. Its not rocket science.
Maybe you should stop b****ing at everyone in this thread before we all just abandon you or better yet tell you wrong advice.

So how many calories are you eating a day? I asked a couple times when you were complaining about gaining 5 lbs and you didn't answer. It's kind of like a game now so I figure I'll ask again.

    And use barbells.

nope, im not fat. sure, i have some fat i want to trim down, but I'm completely normal weight.

    I'm 6'1.5 and I weigh in the low 180s. I'd say that's good.

Man you need to shut up, honestly. Stop getting butt hurt and all defensive thinking you need to defend that Cheetah guy because I insulted him. You have barely contributed to this thread. Those who have contributed, I am appreciative of them. You can simply ignore this thread if you please.

Alternate mate. One week do barbell preacher curls and then do dumbells the next. Also do some close grip pull ups (as many reps as you can) as soon as you do a heavy bicep set. Will hit them biceps real good

Appreciative? You berate everyone and you can't grasp simple concepts. Even after we repeatedly tell you the same **** over and over again you fail to understand. Again, its not rocket science.

dumbbells...assures symmetry. Given that you're a beginner, you may have an imbalance b/t left and right bicep, so that should help even it out. Also, you're more likely to give into momentum using a barbell.

Didn't want to start my own thread -- when I do bench press and squats should I wear a helmet?

Helmet isn't necessary, but for heavy squats/deadlifts you may want to wear a diaper.

only when you're supersetting them with skullcrushers... and dont forget to add the weight of the helmet to the total weight lifted, most people are not aware of this. hope this helps

It isn't required but it is strongly encouraged. Also remember, Metamucil shakes before workouts and protein shakes after workouts.
