That is a great car. I know someone who might want to sell one that he has been restoring if you want to relive your glory years. I, too, have been a long time Z fan. I was so excited when I heard they were bringing them back. The new ones are cool except for the door handles. They look dumb unless the car is silver and they don't stand out as much (because they are silver).
Thanks guys. Rimmy will be happy to know that my car is silver. I was reading on Edmund's that the car performs at its best at 4000 RPM. So, on the way home, I am trying to get to 4000 RPM. I got to 3500 RPM (in 6th gear) and the speed was 105! The speedometer goes up to 160 and this car might actually be able to do that unlike many cars that have a top speed on the speedometer that is just there for show. I do have one bad place on the front bumper that I didn't see until I drove it home. The dealership is going to have the buff this place out. And don't get me wrong - I loved my Maxima as it was the best car I had ever owned, but my God, I felt that this was a deal I just could not pass up. After just one day of driving this fine machine, I don't ever want to drive anything else...ever.

Welcome to the club, Manny!!! Say hello to another BBS: http://www.my350z.com. I have the same car and package, but in the Sunset Orange. What options did you get in there? Just a heads up ... there is a recall on the car for the front alignment, make sure you get that done, if it hasn't been done. They give you brand new front tires and all, and it makes the car ABSOLUTELY amazing to drive afterwards. And it really does go all the way upto the 160. I've taken it upto 154.
Manny, Go ahead and order the chip upgrade for it and have someone install it so it can take the limiter off the car and you can go way past what it's set to. But you didn't hear that from me and i didn't tell you to do it
The 350Z from what I remember reading when looking for a car was limited to 155 mph. But like Stack24 said, I'm sure there are chip mods out there that could remove that (assuming it's computer-limited and not tire-limited... if it's tire-limited, things just got much easier. )

rockit, The tires on this car look brand new, but I will check on that - thanks for the heads up. I have the touring package. This car has the following: 1) Leather Upholstery 2) Heated Leather Seats 3) Power Windows 4) Power Door Locks 5) 6 Disc CD Changer 6) Tape Player along with AM/FM Stereo 7) 6 Speed Manual 8) Cruise Control About the only things it doesn't have are a moonroof/sunroof and spoiler.
That's awesome. If you browse thru the 350 forums in the Audio/Video/NAV area ... you can some really nice mods to have a computer/nav/vcd player installed for fairly cheap. I got the factory NAV, but after seeing all these folks come up with great ideas, I regret it. There's a few other "recalls" out for it ... you'll find the whole list of about 26 on the site. Again, congratulations ...
