In Texas, you can carry one in your car whether your crossing county lines or not. The law changed not all that long ago (6 months ago or so). You don't have to be "traveling" anymore to carry in your car.
Do not carry a firearm, would never carry a firearm. Do not like the idea of the security guard/rent a cop, scanner at home cop/military worshippers who don't actually qualify for the police or armed services having access to concealed weapons. If that makes me a wuss so be it.
