I can see the offense improving a lot. The crispness of the passes, the speed at which players get to their spots, the awareness of who is open in which corner. These are things that will undoubtedly improve. So I think we're going to be a top 3 offensive team this season. As far as defense goes, if we end up exactly in the middle, we can maybe snatch homecourt? I don't know. I'm not expecting anything better than middle of the pack on defense. Our system is not conducive to great defense with the personnel we have. I like that we did well in preseason but I didn't get a great read of how well this team will play when the games count. I felt like we never went through a decent stretch of the starters going at the other team hard and fast. There was a lot of slow thinking going on IMO.
