Yeah, we just used Mo as our top option and crushed a team that had been red hot. I'd say that is saying a lot. When Mo was on and given the ball like tonight, they couldn't come close to us. And neither could most teams in the NBA for that matter.

Took over as the inside scorer from who? We didn't have an inside threat the entire first half of the season. Where was Mo the first half of the season when we needed someone, cause Dream sure wasn't doing anything.

Walker also had a horrible defender named Kenny Thomas to score against as well. Mo didn't have that luxury last time I checked.

Right there. I was very pleased with Mo in the first half of the season, and without him we wouldn't be near .500 imho. Mo's big man scoring was what kept defenders honest lots of times and what also kept us in games when the guards were cold.

"Love how you wait for a game against Kevin Garnett to "bet on him having an off night."

Well we do play in the west. We don't play any east teams in the playoffs (unless we are in the finals)

He was 1-9 in the situation that I am looking at and it was in the first half of the season.

You said that Walker's % in a bad situation (second night of a back to back) was better than Mo's. I was replying saying that a good reason Walker even got to 4-17 shooting was poor defense by KT, and if not for KT his percentage may have been much worse tonight.

Maybe KT was tired getting more rebounds than Mo in 10 fewer minutes. [IMG]

the cat, Kenny Thomas is actually a pretty good defender. Dadakota, you asked where was Mo the 1st half of the season? He was adjusting and finding his role on this team, much like Derek Anderson was in san antonio. Now both players are striving.

    TheCat,

Were you voted "Most Likely To Succeed" in school?

I mean you're not going to here, but damn your tenacity/persistance is ridiculous if not accurate... haha! [IMG]

Mo was 1-9 in the second night of a back-to-back and it wasn't against Kevin G. It was the game against Boston on November 22,2000.

I know it was. When did I deny that?

Cat, those aren't numbers to brag about for a one-game perfomance. Hell, LJ had a 25 pt 10 rebound game not too long ago. Hype him when he is consistant or performs a spectacular feat. Not this. Too premature.

    LOL! [IMG]

Seriously I was very close, but not quite. Actually did win something like that once, but that was many years ago (8th grade awards it seems like). Trust me though, everyone who knows me does note me for persistance/determination... I never give up. That's just not me. Anyway, back on topic... how about Mo Taylor?? [IMG]

I agree 100% Crisco. I do believe in that. But I also believe in something else, and that is to try and get people to understand your point of view give them a dose of their own medicine. I think its also been premature for many posters to bash him on the premise of one bad game. Sure doesn't seem to stop them though. [IMG] I completely understand what you are saying-- I'm just trying to turn the tables on the bashers.

If the Rockets were to consistently go to Mo like they did tonight, I think he could consistently put up excellent numbers. I feel his rebounding improves when he gets offensive touches. When he gets shots, his confidence soars, and he isn't afraid to dive for those boards.

I know what you are doing Cat, I've seen you in action too many times. [IMG]

I just think you should have waited till you had more ammunition, is all. Standing on tonites game as a soapbox is a little shaky ground, esp. to those who want him out of town.
