Rick is pissed he didn't join Gary and all the other ex-Texans in Denver. :p

Only rub it more in McNair's face if the SB was in Houston this year or they make/win it again next year. ;)

That would be classic. Meanwhile show camera shots with close ins on Mcnair's face. He will probably have that look of disbelief similar to the Texans blowouts in nationally televised games.

Kubes had run his course here and it was time for him to go. He road the coattails of a very dominant defense. He's still the best coach the Texans have ever had, which isn't saying much.

Wait, so Rick Smith isn't a great GM and Kubiak isn't a terrible coach?

Why would anyone be upset or angry that Kubiak and Wade won a Super Bowl? I guess all the people that wanted Kubiak fired feel a little silly now, so maybe that's why they would be angry.

I heard ND Kalu say that Kubiak was loved by all the Texan players. I think that's a good thing. I think Kubiak and Wade are good guys, so why not be happy for them? They clearly are good enough coaches to win a Super Bowl. They just proved that.

It's a shame Kubiak and Wade couldn't win a Super Bowl in Houston. The Texans maybe could have won one if Schaub hadn't gotten hurt that one year.

Now, let's hope the Texans can find a QB, and let's do what Denver just did.

It's hysterical to me that the Texans **** canned half the people who just won the Super Bowl but held on to Rick Smith.

    Good choice!

Cant take any of his shine away from him...They ran the ball effectively against a stout Carolina defense. Manning obviously is done, but Kubiak's offense with a lead entering the 4th quarter has always been money. He knows how to run the clock out...

The Texans rarely played with a lead the season he got fired.

What kind of coach is BOB?

The Broncos battle-fought their way to the title.

They should really offer everything to N.O. for Brees.
Brees and Watt put you in the SB in your home building.

    Yes you did.

He was signed about 8 weeks ago by the Broncos thanks to Wade.

Then realize that we could of had a slightly younger and way more capable Manning in 2012 (2nd in MVP that year, won it the next) with a still very effective Andre Johnson, prime Adrian Foster, borderline elite offensive line and a top 5 defense with rising superstar JJ Watt.

This year's Denver defense would still be slightly better than ours, but our offense would have been elite with Manning at quarterback.

I know the neck was a very serious issue and I'm not saying that adding Manning to that 2012 Texans team would have guaranteed a Super Bowl but when a top 5 quarterback of all time has clear interesting in joining your team and you say "Umm thanks, but we have Matt Schaub so pass!" you know this organization is a joke.

I know Kubiak was rumored to have a big hand at rejecting Manning to the Texans but it doesn't excuse Rick Smith or McNair for passing up on what would be our first and only franchise quarterback.
