So far, the Rockets have been much better with Hartenstein at C versus Capela -- Why?

Right now Jimmy Butler takes the 3-point shooting Covington supplied. So they don’t
actually present the 5-out set because of lack of shooting by Ben Simmons and Fultz....but it looks like Fultz is out.

Reports are that Sixers are trying to get Kover or someone the equivalent there of: Could they present a lineup
    of: JJ Redick/ Butler/ Korver/ Wilson Chandler/ Embiid.....5 players that can shoot 3’s?
Or: JJ Redick/ Butler/ Korver/ Simmons/ Embiid? 4 players out with Simmons initiating.

I agree with you on Embiid running the court slowly, but I feel he is an excellent post up player.....unlike KAT.

Cousins won’t need much lateral movement to stand there like a statue as a 3-point shooter, but I question
his ability to post up since the twists and turns may apply too much torque on the healing Achilles in year one
of rehab. Kobe career was over with this injury (of course at an older age) and Rudy Gay struggled, but played well.
I would claim Rudy Gay stayed away from posting up for the most part, though. So I’m not expecting Cousins
to be too effective as a post up option except vs CP3 and GGreen.

Will be interesting on how we defend the Warriors plus Cousins.

The next game is starting. Why don't we watch it and see how our two centers play against the Pistons. Just a thought.

I don't see Cousins as a factor if we meet in the playoffs. I think the PACE will be too much for him to be effective.

I like your second Philly lineup better. Simmons has to be on the floor. And he's got the skills to get to the rack with the other 4 guys spread.

Yep, I think the Rockets can run him off the court since his defense will be suspect & a liability.

Crazy numbers OP. Hartenstein defense has dipped a little but still crazy numbers are present.

    https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/h/harteis01/on-off/2019

In the thread: “Why is Hartenstein Playing?” (I posted in post #166)
    Hartenstein (18/19): On/Off (per basketball-reference.com)
    On: 117 mins............120.4 ORtg.........Now 138 mins........122.3 ORtg ......(has improved as a team w/Hart)
    Off: 556 mins............110 ORtg............Now 631 mins........112.8 ORtg ......(has improved as a team w/o Hart)

    Opponent: Hartenstein (On/Off)
    On: 117 mins..............100 ORtg...........
    Now 138 mins........106.6 ORtg...(team def lessened w/Hart recently)
    Off: 556 mins..............116.6 ORtg........
Now 631 mins........116.5 ORtg ...(approx. the same as before w/o Hart)

*Hartenstein On/ Off as of 11/23/18 prior to game tonight (@ Pistons): 18/19 season.

I didn’t read your post (above #86); but I see I posted basically what you wrote (about Cousins).

If we listen to the rumors....the Sixers are looking for a SF who can shoot 3’s. I’m glad it won’t be an matter for the
Rockets until the finals (if and when the Sixers improve).
