    Man!!!!

So close, too many what-if's. Damn Leon Johnson, if he doesn't muff that kickoff... oh well. Great game, I was really proud of the Bears run defense, but GOD they got killed in the air. That just shows how good Brooks is, very mobile.

I read that on the last play Dez White and Marty Booker didn't run the right routes and Jim Miller just threw it where they were supposed to be. Seriously I thought the Bears were going to comeback and win, after the last 19 games you just expect them to.

Still, it was a great game and very exciting. See ya in the playoffs.

I was pretty close on the score...

TheCat, the Saints often are a great team the first half of the season. Their true character defining moments come late in the season.

The Bears offense is just too stagnant to advance them far in the playoffs. They will make the playoffs, but play some team they can whip all over the field except 1 position (McNabb, Farve)--and that one position will make the difference.

Desert you are right, imagine if Chicago could have gotten Drew Bledsoe??? Chicago needs a good QB. Imagine if freaking Cade McNown would have been something... The Defense is so young and potent, hopefully they can get a killer QB (nothing against Miller) before the Defense starts to decline. They already have nice WR's and a good RB/O-Line. Miller was the least sacked QB last year and A-Train busted 1000yds.

I don't care what they are historically... this is a different team. It's a very different style of offense, centered around someone other than Ricky Williams and built on the speed game. There are more weapons, more speed, and better team chemistry than in previous years.

You'll see their true character when they are in San Diego in late January.

The Saints are VERY composed. Down 20-0 and they casually come back. Brooks didn't even break a sweat, I think New Orleans has a legit team, no more late season funks.

    That's awesome, RF!

I would like to go to a Vandy game sometime in November once I get through some of this crap for this one night class I have. I'll try to pick a date and talk to you about it off-line from the BBS.
