    All that being said, you should at least let your 39 friends know that's not you contacting them so they won't click on something nefarious.

    Every person I know who has had a situation similar to yours, interacts with those dumb games, surveys and crap. Their only purpose is to phish for information. Doesn't matter what device or platform they've been on.
