Him taking 33 million doesnt mean we have 7-10 to spend on someone else. We would still be over the cap and only able to offer Moute the 2.9 million non bird maximum or the MLE we are saving to find out what our finances will be with clint. Why are you people so cap salary procedure dense.
Curry isnt taking a paycut. Klay Thompson is still on his previous deal. He hasnt taken a paycut. Green only took 2 million per year off the top on his massive 5 year deal in 2015. He only did that so they could squeeze in durant into cap space. We dont have cap space and cant make any unless cp3 took a 15-20 million per year cut
maybe the team didnt want to use the tax payer MLE on Luc. Ever think of that? What if we arent taxpayers? If Clint deal isnt reached we will barely be over with his QO and they will trade anderson to get easily under. Giving us access to the full MLE at the deadline for any buyout etc. Should be alot of buyouts with all these 1 year deals going around
we paid cp3 40 mil dollar for him to only regress this much. And they said we are gonna dethrone the worriers with me70 I hate to admit it but chuck was right during halftime he said losing 2 defenders in luc and ariza hurts, what do we expect.
CP3 will bounce back but I'm afraid he's gonna start having more bad games as the season progresses. He has to do too much. With him being injury prone, that doesn't bode well for the future.
He was my favorite rocket last year, but I thought that contract was bad from day one. It looks a lot worse today.
It sucks yeah. The sad thing is, you ask any Rocket fan after Game 7 and they tell you "We win if CP3 was healthy." It's just our luck though. Some players don't just decline, they fall right off a cliff.
I love his game too. It's kind of heartbreaking (and hopefully premature), but MDA needs to keep him around 26 minutes w frequent rests. IMO
Get used to it this season, I think Chris Paul will be wildly inconsistent. I would be angry if he just took 15 million a year, because his performance is bad.
CP3? More like CPThief. It's been hard watching the team this season, hopefully they snap out of it and at least make the season competitive. Not expecting much from the Rockets this year but at least try and play like you still love the game.
We lost most of our luck when the Dream joined a Canadian team in a parallel reality. And he did retire there.
