Kind of reminds me of Kelvin Cato. I remember how everybody seemed to really hate Cato and his laziness. Then he shows up and is really active the whole season. Now his contract is not looking as bad as it use to, though now Moochie is the "whipping boy." He may realize that he sucked and wants to make us all forget this lazy, fat, stupid, terrible, lazy, stupid Moochie. Did he was lazy...and stupid? But then again, he may have just poured some water on himself while he was at his mansion.
He wasn't stupid or fat. He just wasn't used to the 'offensive changes' Rudy oriented last year. If he bounces back, it won't be anything like Cato. Kelvin had to play for his job. He knew a bigger, taller, faster, smarter, better player was taking his position, and if he didn't work his ass off, he would be on the streets (still getting paid no less). Mooch's drive is Van Gundy. If he ****s up early, he's gone. He should have a good season.
I agree. While I'm concerned about the offense under JVG (see the Knicks), I think Mooch will have a much better year under JVG.

Seeing this pic gives me optimism for the season. If JVG can get moochie to get into shape then I can't wait until he and patrick get their hands on Yao and they probably have already started working on the rest of the team. Discipline and hard work is exactly what this team needed. GO ROCKETS!!

john lucas was the first person i thought of too. now i'm seeing a little samuel l. jackson and sorta cuttino mixed in there. if he's in better shape and doesn't suck, i may get to stop hating him, which is good, b/c i don't like hating on current or former rockets. c'mon mooch, play like you did 2 years ago and the backup pg spot will be solid now and not something we have to cringe at for 17 minutes a game.
