Why would anyone tan? There's not some universally accepted ideal tone-wise, so people are obviously doing it for some other aspect of the experience, like manicures and pedicures. If she were black it wouldn't make sense, but other than that I assume biologically UV rays will do something to her skin.

i mean Caucasians aren't exact "white" in color, they are more of a pinkish color, unless you are albino or something
