Currently two and a half seasons into Snowfall. I don't see how the two can be compared as they're both striving to be something completely different. Snowfall is what I was expecting The Wire to be, but instead got a (what I would believe to be) true life representation of urban politics. Inject too much Hollywood into The Wire and you get Snowfall, which isn't a bad thing because it's still entertaining. If I had to choose which series gets the chop though... it'd be Snowfall.
