    Ok digging up a semi-dead thread but..

    What do you guys think of the Rome Solution? A good board for beginners?

    I got lucky when I bought mine. Got a GREAT pair of boots for $20. My highschool auctions off stuff students leave in the dorm for very cheap prices. These boots were worn maybe 5 times before I got them. :D

    My board is a $450 Palmer HoneyComb, Bindings are Burton I think. Can't remember, it's all packed away.

    I've had my stuff since '02.

    BTW...funny to see someone post a snowboard.com link. Haven't seen that site in YEARS. I think I have a profile on there still. I have a hoodie they sent me for free to wear while boarding.
