WOW! That's a lot of snow! Wish it was coming down there hard here in Nacogdoches. Oh well, I'm headed to Canada for some snowboarding in 3 days. I love me some snow.
It's been coming down for several hours here in the Heights, but it's not sticking to the ground. I just talked to my parents in Deer Park and they said they've got a couple inches sticking on the ground out there. This is awesome!
Wow it really is snowing. Not like how it is in those pics but I see white stuff falling. Not enough for a snowball fight. Always wanted one.
Down here in League City it's been coming down for a while now. At least two inches on the ground. I made a three foot snowman!
I was up north a couple of years ago near the Chicago area and was walking up to my hotel room and the stairs were outside (Marriott Residence Inn). The stairs were frozen solid and I tried to walk gingerly on them but slid big time and fell on my ass, luckily I didn't fall down the stairs too much. After that I called to the lobby to put salt on the stairs. Snow maybe cool, but ice on anything sucks, black ice is dangerous. I'd hate to be those people up north having to scrape ice off their cars every morning.
lameeee. how come baytown gets a good 2-3 inches of fluffy stuff on the ground and our crap in sugar land melts
Lol, my dad called me when he got out of work tonight to tell me. 3 hours later, my mom calls to tell me. 30 minutes after that, my brother calls to tell me....
last few shots, Ive got at least 3-5 inches of snow here. got more at http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v328/larsoles/ if anyone is interested.
Global Warming! 5 inches of snow? That's the second time in the last 5 years (if I recall). Before that, wasn't the last time in the 1880's or something?
yes, it is one last one to show how deep it is, the buildup on my smokers are undisturbed by any snowball making kids. as for anyone amazed this is a big deal to us here, remember that Houston in general doesnt see snow that actually sticks and stays for any length of time.
