wait, is this real snow or just a few flakes? is there enough snow to make a snowball, or have a snowball fight?
I see this and think how nuts this weather is because this weekend it's supposed to be in the 70's... blech.
There was a freeze back in December '89 while my brothers and I were visiting our Mom on Fondren. When we got back to Dad's house in Baytown, there was enough water damage that we had to replace carpet and put in wooden wall paneling on almost every inch of that 1500 square foot house, while we stayed over at his mistress-turned-girlfriend's house. Faucets. On. Now.
yeah it was like 65 here in nyc today, but it's supposed to be back to the 30's tomorrow and snowing on friday. crazy weather.
A light flurry of crumpled snowflakes make a larger snowflake, then they fall on my Camry and take just a few seconds, then disappear. Stand just under your outside Christmas lights or next to your outside light fixture, and look up at the sky. It's snowing. I will post a KATY Snow video soon.
damn, there was a tiny bit of snow here at work at about 4:30 and then i walk outside at 6 and it is just coming down. big flakes, too, and coming down fast. most snow i can remember in a long time. certainly seemed like more than the '04 snow, but maybe that's just where i was. but it was awesome to walk around in for 10 or 15 minutes.
