I agree. She's got a great voice and plays the piano, but she goes around making kitschy pop songs and over-the-top sexual inuendos and dances.
I had no idea how good of a singer she was until I saw a clip of her on SNL. Wow, I was taken back. Here I was thinking just was just another bubblegum pop diva (with slightly more, uh, suggestive lyrics), meanwhile she has an incredible voice. Sometimes people surprise you, I guess? Either way, I agree that she should tone down the sexual innuendo and focus more on her vocal talent.
I doubt she has handlers who suggest that she does that. It's all her, but I don't think it's genuine either. How can anybody dress like that because they like the way it looks? I'm sure she does it for the attention and to be outrageous.
Plenty of pop singers are like this...probably most. I mean, It should be all of them but I would say most pop singers have vocal talent. The exceptions (Madonna, Britney Spears, Chris Brown, etc.) probably make up less than a quarter of the pop artists out there.
I thought the video was funny. Was I supposed to say that? My bad, I forgot to fill out my template properly. Let me try again. That video of {posted video} didn't make me laugh at all. That {insert actor in video} sure is overrated and over-hyped. He hasn't been any good since {earlier video}. Instead of {insert actor in video} they should have given {insert flavor of the month actor} more air time instead. That is, until next month when I'll comment that {insert flavor of the month actor} is now overrated and over-hyped.

On the music boards I've frequented over the years, this has absolutely been the perfect template. They're amazing as long as you're "the only one" that knows about them.
