Don't give him that much credit. 21 carries for 67 yards (last week)? 3.2 YPC? I wouldn't call that decent... that's almost approaching Ron Dayne territory.

What's incredibly sad is that Dayne, in his rookie season (plus 5 games of the next season), actually registered 3 carries over 32 yards each, including two in the 50-yard range. Reggie "Open Space" Bush's greatest run to date has been 22 yards, which he achieved only yesterday. Hmmmm, come to think of it, slow, lumbering Dayne actually has a run of 25 yards this year as well.

Because... I've always liked Bush since College, I don't care what he's done lately or if he'll suck for the rest of the year. And I don't care about all the bad stats he's put up this year, or how he put them up. I'ma still favor him over Mario.

If one person mentions something about Bush, and how that person likes him more than this Texan or would of drafted him or w/e. Ya'll do really get sensitive about the subject. Chill out...

Listening to Michaels and Madden, you would've thought that no running back in the history of the NFL had made a 22 yard run, ever, and that it just showed how Bush is such a "special, special" player. Considering that they had to know that the whole country earlier that very same day had borne witness to a truly mind boggling performance by AD, I was mouth-agape-amazed that they could take a national audience for such idiots.

Reggie Bush is the only RB in the league that can be praised non-stop after putting up 131 combined yards, 0 touchdowns, and 2 lost fumbles.

The Texans will never win a championship because of that pick.

I love Peterson but it does help that he has an All Pro left side to run behind. Notice how all of his big runs are to the left. It's not a coincidence.

Seeing the people go from "once in a generation" to "3rd down back" is hilarious (about Bush). Man it's almost like Michelle Wie. :D

So if Mario starts tearing it up and Bush sucks, you would still prefer the sucky Bush over a good Mario? How does that make sense?

That's not why - it's quality not quantity. I have access to the secret subforums and don't have the insane post counts.
