[sneaker heads] Name some of your prized possessions!

Dang, how much did you pay for these? And did you get them off eBay when they initially came out? I heard they were releasing these in 2015 with powered laces

 

Just out of curiosity, do you buy a particular size shoe or do any particular size shoes sell better than the others?

 

Yea I got it at the beginning when they came out. It was around 3000 for it. Haha I haven't worn them yet too scared to. Ppl are selling this thing for about 6-7k right now. I think im going to keep them unless the price balloons to like 15-20k

I was looking for a pair of those a couple of years ago. Hakeem Olajuwon was at the sneaker summit and i was going to try and get them signed.

I actually found them on Ebay for $20 and my size (I had actually been checking ebay for a long time for this and jumped at it when I found them). They were unworn.

 

Always been in love with sneakers and I just recently started picking up a few from my childhood that I love. Got these a few weeks ago to start it off. On of my two favorite J's

Here's the deal. If you're buying online, you can only buy up to 2 and they have to be the same size. You need to be very quick for some releases..I mean refresh Nike's twitter page over and over when the time hits (usually early morning). Click on the link...copy paste your cc and hope that it goes though. Some re-releases are easier to get like this month's Jordan 3's.

It would be impossible to do more than one order unless you have a second PC open and have someone else physically order them.


To answer your question though.. sizes 12 and 13 are probably the best in terms of selling them off fast for a profit but for shoes the like Jordan 11's and 4's sell fast and for a big mark-up. Sizes 10, 11 wouldn't give you any problems either.

 

Those are sick. I didn't even know they released those. They're selling for $275 plus online.

I've recouped a bit. But still miss my sneaks.

 

Only people profiting are the ones that know what's going on. People think they can just buy the latest Jordans, put them on eBay and profit. Those folks are in a rude awakening. Not every shoe sells out and not every shoe is in demand. Seen plenty of shoes go for under retail. thats means losing money. If you're lucky, you might come away with $30 after fees and shipping. Is it worth it? My advice, if you know nothing about sneakers, invest your money elsewhere.

The shoes that will profit the most, are the ones that are the hardest to obtain because of limited quantities.

 

I've just started to "collect" sneakers and the main reason is: if a buy a pair of sneakers for 130 $ why not just take care of them so they will last longer?

There's alot of discussions on youtube between sneakerheads about authentic vs replica so if youre new to the game u would want to check that out I guess...
