Depends on who loses this week. I could see Iowa and Cal dropping out. USC might drop out if this game keeps going this way. We're sitting at basically 28 right now.
Yeah, not bad considering it was a Thursday night and competing with Astros and Texans. I think next home game against Vandy will hit 40k, especially if we beat UCF and Tulane.
Even 7-0 we're not pulling 40K on Halloween (with a likely 11AM kickoff) against a weak P5 team. Cinci and Memphis have a serious shot at sellouts if we're ranked at the time, however. The best thing about all of this is that the absolute attendance dregs of our schedule is behind us now and we're averaging a 30.3K per game. If our last 4 home games are as well attended as I think they will be, we might average over 35K this year. That's over 10K more than last year. Simply amazing.
Vandy isn't good, but they're probably just as good as anyone we've already played. When your OL gets decimated, you can lose to anyone. I just want to make sure we carry 7-0 into the next home game. Every undefeated home crowd we get from here on out is gravy.
disagree. I would take Louisville of them IMO. I mean Western Kentucky came into Vandy and beat them week. LOL. Granted WKU is a good team this year ut still. Also, Vandy barely beat Middle Tennessee St. if we go into that vandy game undefeated, our crowd will be well over 34,000.
If Greg Ward can throw like that, there's nobody out there that can beat us. The national coverage there should allow us to slip into the top 25 this week. Then it will be a slow roll for a few weeks. We'll start jumping teams as we get to Cinn, Navy, and Memphis. I like that we addressed our poor running game and responded with a display. Nobody had over 60 yards but they were running about 5 yards per carry and with a mission. And Ward was solid through the air. Not missing open wide outs. This was a game where we hit a little adversity, managed it, and sprinted to the finish.
It's my understanding Ed Oliver was at the game with Tyrie Cleveland. It sure would be nice to get both of them!
