^^^ Thats a really mean post to Fatty. Just so you know, I had a good friend that is a healt nut. He worked at a 24 hr fitness. Never smoked, never drank....he died in a car accident last year. Your post was shallow and immature. Everyone has their fair share of problems. I think by attacking Fatty, you just showed some of your own personal weaknesses, that you need to work on, as Fatty knocks his smoking craving. Fatty, I found a store that has these. What is the best way for me to purchase them? Do I get the starter kit, or do think there is another way to go?
Don't know much, from what I read the Ncig is much longer. I'd just go with Npro. It comes with 5 refills. (equivalent of about 3 packs) so I'd get 10 free refills while you're there. At least that is what I did.
10 free refills? How do I go about doing that? Should I go ahead and buy plenty of the cartridges if they have them? I smoke about a pack a day, so I'm concerned that I will go through it fast, and not have any more refills.
Nic is only so addictive because of the delivery system and the blood level peak shape and height. The gum gives you low concentration spread out over a long period of time. Therefore the addictive nature is minimized. Also additives increase addiction
Nic has the same side effects as caffeine or other stimulants. Unless you experience some hypertension or high blood pressure the side effects of nic are nill.

as an ex-smoker who quit cold turkey the fact is that it is all about getting over the nicotine addiction. That addiction is what makes you put up with the smell, cough, pain of buying them, finding time and places to smoke, etc. If I was still smoking, I'm sure I'd be buying these things as well. a good book is Allen Carr's easy way to quit, it helps you rationalize the addiction. Also, google the timeline that nicotine leaves your body, its interesting to learn. After 72 hrs its pretty much out of your system. I still miss them but its nicer being free of that habit
2 of my friends got a bunch of the e-cigarettes about 6 months ago. Case 1: He used it for about 2-3 weeks before deciding he couldn't get the same effect he wanted due to the inhaling mechanism not being consistent in terms of how quickly the drug was released. It didn't feel right compared to cigarettes (even in terms of the drug), so he was off it. Case 2: He used it for about 2 months. But he was a generally lazy kinda guy, and he lost the charger, etc.. After gonig back to smoking briefly, he got Chantix and quit smoking right away. He was off Chantix in a month and hasn't wanted a cigarette since.
Chantix has an incredible success rate and I can vouch for its effectiveness. But I'd also warn anyone that was going to try it about the many and terrible potential side effects. Beyond the nuisances like incredibly vivid/often terrible dreams, sleeplessness and debilitating nausea it can cause, it can also drive you crazy. There are tons of documented cases of psycho freak-outs associated with the drug (I experienced them and my brother did too). And one of the New Bohemians was killed while on Chantix because he had an episode and was shot to death by a person that was terrified by him. This drug was rushed through the FDA because of the great good it can do by helping people quit, but it is nothing to trifle with. If you try it, check with your doctor at the earliest sign of bad effects. I tried it twice and I'll never do it again.
Anyone know much about the liquid dripping? From what I gathered, its cheaper to buy the liquid and put on a used cartridge. Is there a place in Houston that has any of this kinda stuff? I'm about to go get the Njoy Npro. I hope it works.
^ This is all nonsense - you were cured of your smoking addiction by a campfire at about 4:00 AM -- land is land. We also learned that you were an American that night, but that is a whole other story.
