I think the main thing that was better in the second half was the defense. As far as Smith being a better distributor and running the point so well, its a bit debatable.

Why is a guy shooting 25% from the field taking the most shots on the team? Meanwhile a clutch and effective Scola hardly gets any touches?

I think Scola really should have been the go-to guy tonight in the 4th. He is clutch, he is tough.

I'm fine with a scoring PG or simply no PG. But stop pretending to be the play-maker with the pea-brain style play making! Is it that hard to understand with the brain cells you have? Well, I guess yes given the quality of those cells.

Oh, I agree. This loss hurt me, as a fan, the most. I'm not celebrating anything. I'm upset.

An undrafted third string PG and a backup 2 guard are pushing opposing teams as hard or harder than our starting backcourt. That shouldn't happen.

But we don't know that our starting backcourt would have done worse.

The Spurs missed a lot of wide open looks there in the 2nd half.....

And both Brooks and Martin were scoring, there is no way of knowing, but we had as good a chance to win, nay a better chance if they were in there playing.

It's clear that we figured out you are indeed an idiot. That's at least something I offered to this BBS.

Not sure if that's true. Must of us have known that for a while....

orlando fans will tell you that lee is the master when it comes to choking in critical situations in the fourth.

You keep talking about his shooting but ignore the fact that he played way better defense on Tony Parker and he ran the team well to give us a chance to win the game.

Who scored 7 points in overtime when Ish was guarding him again?

Let's not make stuff up, I like Ish too, but the Spurs let their guard down when AB and KMart went out.....

We should have won if CLee could hit a mother flapping FT.

Smith and Lee should stick to their role ... coming off the bench. I'm sorry but as well as they played, I wouldn't want to see Courtney Lee chiefing free throws and Ish Smith jacking up those floaters (granted he usually makes those). Smith should've just ran a pick and roll with Scola and let Scola shoot those 15 footers. Those shots are money. There is a reason they are bench players, not starters.

No one is saying we should start Smith and Lee. We just need to put AB on the bench or simply trade him.
Switch AB and KL and keep the rest of the starting lineup.

easy/normal ast is more difficult to creat

PG should make the shot easier for others.

what is it in your mind?

    creat impossible mission to Scola

Yes because we should have 2 offensively inept players in the starting line up. From the snippet that we saw from Lowry, we can conclude that he is not as effective as last year. All he does now is jack up 3s instead of driving in. I'm not hating on Lowry but if you want a PG like Lowry to start, you might as well resign Rafer. I know that AB isn't exactly a defensive stalwart, but every player with an exception of a few has flaws. AB is a scoring pg. He is who he is. When you don't have an excellent shooter like AB as a pg, the other team would pack up the paint and force the pg to shoot (today's game). Thats why Smith had to jack up shots. Only thing we can hope is that we play better team D and hopefully AB puts more effort in playing D.

Lowry was injured and that's why he was playing like crap.
His weakness is he doesn't have outside shooting. But neither does Rondo, who is arguably the best PG now.

Well, the OP will get his wish for a Smith/Lee backcourt tomorrow.

Man, the Rockets' depth is really getting tested.

So our PG should have the following..

    Brooks scoring
Lowrys relentless attacking of the rim style of play
    Ish Speed and court vision

    Ok lets get CP3

Brooks + Kevin Martin + NY1st round pick + Battier for salary match and expiring..

People are saying we have so many shooters on the team and this will help..
People are saying Ish would be perfect but he has no shot and basically that is what CP3 has.

DD, I think Morey is try to market Brooks. It's proved by he offered Lowry a bigger contract.
