Say DD do you think Morey will finally be forced to make trade this week?

    Spurs let their guards down.

See how far a Smith and Lee backcourt will get this team.

Then again the Brooks and Martin backcourt hasn't gotten us anything this year .

    *kanye shrug*

Tonight Rockets look like last years team all heart and no talent, problem is when brooks, martin, and yao are back our idenity changes again from hustle scrappy players to glodenstate warriors score and no defense then the chemistry issues again...do we run? do we force feed yao?

The offense looked much, much better with Smith in the game.

Aaron Brook's tempo/pacing/vision in the 4th quarter IS a huge problem.

    No !

I don't think there is a trade to be made, and Morey will sit tight until there is one.

I am sorry...but why is Martin not the in game in the 4th? I didn't watch the entire game. I don't care if he doesn't play D...but when you need a 3 to tie...u don't put him in??? WhaT?? IS he fouled out?? I don't see it in the score box...so i don't know what's going on.

    You people are ridiculous.

How the hell are Lee and Smith the reason we lost the game when they're the only reason we were in it to begin with?

They brought something we haven't seen in a while...defense in the backcourt.

Yeah, those Ish floaters were Raferisstic....and up 4 with the ball and he bricks a 2 footer leading to a fast break layup for Jefferson.

    Just peachy !!

I will give you a bit of that....for sure.....they played hard....but both of them made STUPID boneheaded plays late which are no different than leaving your man wide open for a 3....like Brooks did against the Lakers.

Both have the same result....a big old hairy L.

Tempo and Pacing, You understand it about as much as Aaron Brooks and Kevin Martin.

IMO Martin and Brooks still give you the best chance to win. You can cleaarly see that Ish and Lee still aren't familiar with the offense. It was a bunch of scrambling around late in the game with Lee and Ish.

The ONLY thing brooks has over ish smith is his ability to score other than that give the advantage to ish smith in anything else.

Those AB lovers share the same traits with AB, a pea-sized brain but a huge ego. They thought they really understood the game, but in others' eyes, they're just plainly stupid.

Yeah, I understand it completely...I understand ALL of it.

I also understand the Spurs letting down because they had an undrafted rookie PG that can't shoot his way out of a wet paper bag.

    Pretty much...

If only shooting wasn't such an important part of the game...

But to me, Tempo and defense is every bit as important.

Be happy, we found a nice player in Ish Smith...

Solid rookie performance. He made mistakes, but he is a rookie.

Aaron Brooks should not be having the problems that he has been having. He is not a rookie anymore, but often times plays like one...

LOL, exactly. We were down about 13 points when they came in. The game was headed to be a blowout, and then Lee and Ish came in and brought a healthy dose of defense and BALL MOVEMENT.

For once, the offense and defense played correctly AND cohesively. It became a team game. Even Battier was involved with a corner 3!!! Remember those?

The scrambling is called hustling and getting people involved, instead of just standing around jacking 3's and watching the other team jack 3's in your face.
