From Espn: It's amazing to see how Jerry Rice changes his body at the age of 39. The best receiver and perhaps the best-conditioned receiver in NFL history hit the weights this offseason. He reported at 210 pounds, 16 pounds heavier than last year and 12 pounds heavier than any time in his career. His plan is to use the extra strength to get off the line of scrimmage in press coverage.
Thats because he no longer has the speed to out fox the cornerbacks at the line of scrimmage. He now must use physical force to break from their holding him. Still he is not a bad reciever to have.
Probably, since he will only give you about 6 per - but at least you have one of the most reliable TE's.
Hang in there guys... I didn't think it would get back to me tonight.... I'll make my pick within the next 15-20 mins.
Picking 7th just stinks. I feel like I'm putting together the most average team ever. I'm at the middle of every run.
@#$%%@^ Nemers!! I wanted Lamar Smith! I'm in Temple, Texas, all weekend, visiting in-laws. I can ony check in from time to time. You guys have to promise to quit wiping out my queue!
