Pigskin took R. Williams....... I took J. Morgan............ even if I wanted to take a kicker at this point, I couldn't............
And little fairies will come out of the sky and turn all the trees to gold....... Have you watched any of their preseason games...........nice try.......
I took Troy Polamalu. Hopefully that +1 for passes defended helps things. Going with the PSJ method of stock-piling rookie RBs and seeing what happens I guess. At least I have a couple WRs though. I was thinking about Josh Morgan, he looks like he could bust out, but then again... its San Fran where there hasn't been any semblance of a passing game since Garcia left.
I actually like your strategy a lot and think it could pay off big - couple of those RB's have looked good so far.
I picked Michael "I may holdout all season" Crabtree - well see, he either will be a good pick up or a quick drop.........
See - I told you you were too invested. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Turner is going down with an injury this year. I have read the prophecy.
sorry couldn't send a list because i overslept for this training thing that lasted 9 hrs. Can someone get me lofa tatupu.
Rook - Your team looks like nothing but backs and receivers, Turner is as solid as they come and Ronnie Brown should have a good year. As for your Wideouts I think you reached a bit on Dwayne Bowe, but so have plenty of people. Anthony Gonzalez was a much better value for you. Holmes should become increasingly better than Hines Ward in fantasy production but he needs more looks. Josh Morgan is the #1 WR in San Francisco, which is like being the #1 turd in the toilet. As for your other positions, Romo/Schaub is a nice little spot start competition that you can use to exploit favorable matchups. Kirk Morrison would have held on to his MLB spot had he not gotten an elbow injury in the preseason game vs the 49ers the other night. He still has a shot to come back and still claim the start at MLB, but if he doesn't you are losing valuable tackle points. Maybe you forgot that the IDP + K accounts for nearly half of your roster positions, but you'll be needing great offensive seasons from your studs to get you back into the playoffs. Sammy - I'm only really jealous of one part of your draft. I can't believe that Rodgers plummeted so far back down when I decided between Rivers and Rodgers it was almost a coin flip. Along with A-Rod, you have a trio of runners that will be the focal point of your scoring in Gore, Thomas and Jackson (although Jackson won't last but you already know that). Your Wideouts really do suck unless Braylon Edwards suddenly forgets his hands are not solid tungsten. Brandon Marshall even with his head on straight is facing a serious downgrade at the QB position. The Soldier may still look good on paper but he's also in a QB quandary. Fade - If Brady, Moss and maybe even Ochocinco can rekindle their 2007 Magic, they are all you need. Felix Jones looks good but Reggie Bush will tease you with a couple big point games and then fade down the stretch. Michael Bush is a McFadden injury away from scoring double digit touchdowns. I'm predicting you suck. I know you'll probably win games anyway, but I still hate you for making it impossible for me to compete in Basketball this past season.
Chester Taylor, RB. That's quite the recap, moes. If only you'd put as much thought into your own draft!
Returning the favor: Moe - Obviously you're right about Jackson. He's a big injury risk. So is Anquan Boldin, who's had multiple knee surgeries and has missed at least 2 games in 4 of the last 5 seasons. MJD is a very good runner who's not going to be splitting time anymore with Fred Taylor, but #2 might be a little high for a guy who's never carried the ball even 200 times in a season. Can he hold up? Rivers is a nice pick, definitely. McFadden was on my roster last season and disappointed me all year long. Didn't even consider starting him in the playoffs. I think you might've let your Raider biases influence you, there. Roy Williams -- I'm a UT guy, but he stunk in Dallas. Hopefully he establishes some rapport with Romo. I like the late flyers on Trent Edwards, who has 2 very good WRs to throw to, and Shonn Green, who might get a good number of carries in NY. Overall I see your team getting another wild card spot, but falling short once again. <-- (Holden-style sadness).
Johnnie Lee Higgins, WR Oak I am shocked Moe didn't grab this guy yet...especially with Schilens out. Haha, Moe smells funny. I have a joke for you, Smeg...I am the real father.
