damn you finn, I hate Terry Glenn. Priest... you need to rush for 400 yards against the raiders... you can do it... I honestly believe you can do it.

I am thouroughly pissed at Yahoo. I am playing in a pay league using them and I have been in first all seaso, until this morning. All of a sudden midseason they decide to adjust their scoring system. I'll give a little background info for clarification. We play head to head and play team defenses. Last week I won by 2 points, supposedly. I get up this morning to make a final check of my rosters and find that I am in 4th place. I am like WTF. Come to find out I am tied for 1st but due to points I am in 4th. So I start trying to figure out what was wrong. It seems that yahoo decided Saturday to start counting blocked kicks that are returned for TD's under returns rather than team defense. So now they have waited until past the point where you can edit league details and adjusted all the private league point totals accordingly. So that means that Baltimore only got credit for one defensive TD even though they really scored 2 last week. Losing those points turned my 2 point win over the guy who is now in first into a 4 point loss.  So I protested, but as I am the commisioner I have to decide how I want to handle it. Any suggestions?

Is it possible for me to take Trent Green out of my starting lineup before tommorow if I so choose?

why in the hell would you do that?

The Raiders Defense couldn't stop the Prarieview A&M Offense.

si. dunno if I'd do it, because extra points would be useful in tiebreakers, but if the scores stand up then I already have the win and I'd like to know if this is an option.

That sucks. Yet another reason to never use Yahoo for anything fantasy related. As a commish you have very little control other than setting the league up. Since YOU set up the scoring, why would Yahoo come in a change it?

The only recourse I can see, is for you to email Yahoo and ask them to reset the league using YOUR original scoring setup.

Isn't the team blocking the kick on defense? Aren't all returns (kickoffs and punts) for TD's credited to the defense? Interceptions returned and blocked kicks should fall under that category as well. I would love to hear their explanation for changing YOUR scoring setup.

It's not really an option, but why do it? He still has to play, and he'll still get hurt even if you pull him from the lineup.

Your score is not as high as you think. Heap is listed at 22, when it should be 13. You're afraid that a 5 point lead could go bad if Green throws a few INT's, like that idiot Beurlein did today.

Well they adjusted it for all the private leagues. I have sent an email asking why they chose the middle of the season to change things. I am not positive that returns have always been scored for a defensive td but I do know that up until this week that blocked kicks and punts recovered in the endzone or returned for TD's have been counted towards the defense. We still get credit for the blocked kick but we don't get credit if someone on the defense picks it up and runs it in. That is just stupid.

Who gets credit for those 6 points then? Or do they just discard those points?

I guess the only way to get credit for them is individually. And that is only applicable if it is returned by someone you can set at an offensive position. Otherwise I guess they just don't give those points to anyone.

    interesting note:

    I'm leading the league with 714 total points(even with a no-show edge)

Manny is leading the league in ass poundings with nearly 800 points scored against him. Welcome to the league jabronie.
