MIAMI (AFP) - The Miami Dolphins have postponed their National Football League home game against Pittsburgh, scheduled for Sunday afternoon, as Hurricane Jeanne threatens the east coast of Florida. "After conferring with local authorities and the NFL, in the best interest of public safety it was decided that under no circumstances will the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers be played on Sunday afternoon," Dolphins president Eddie Jones said in a statement issued Saturday. "The Commissioner's office has asked the two teams to consider the largest public safety issues to determine when the game can best be played. A final decision regarding the revised time and date of the game jointly will be made in consultation with the league, the Steelers, and government officials as the hurricane track becomes clearer." The game will be played eventually. The logical solution would be to simply append the appropriate info onto the week 3 matchup after it's played. That way teams with regular Pittsburg and Miami starters in their lineups don't get screwed over.
