Why would anyone want to sit next to DOD to begin with? He is an ass on the board and a bigger ass off of it.

I can see what your saying Manny. I generally admire Dr for his game takes, but in real life at cc.net games he has this grampa computer programmer pretentiousness where he doesn't really want to lower his Microsoft standards and befriend anyone who doesn't pay homage to him, but wants to get into the cc.net open source photo anyhow...if you know what I mean....it's weird.

Maybe we should have a dress code and cc.net outtings and randomly draw tickets so no cliquishness penetrates what used to be really easy going and spontaneous outings.

you are Git HeyP, did you forget to beat off to one of your flash plays today...

Dr is the man and he is at the front of the queue for sitting in our block

yeah the only dress code will be to ensure that the Tour doesn't turn into Redneck wonderland.... and i think we both know there is no clique!!!

Give it a rest, Smeggy, you seem to forget who is buying the tickets and that Behad wears a stupid mullett so his sons don't feel bad about all the abuse they get for the fact their mother can't cut hair, and R0ckets03 refuses to sit next to other people's wives...and most people think CriscoKidd is psycho mad looking, and Rockets2K is from freaking Pasedena and heyschweetie is a "lady" who refuses to be around anyone who wears the same outfit, and didnt' TheCat get banned once here at cc.net...

I mean...maybe we should just break up this stupid idea for an Australian honeymoon.

I'm sorry man; you are a dork and someone needs to tell you that. Why the f!ck are you coming to Houston on your honeymoon.

Don't forget to warn your wife that she needs to wear green face paint to sit in the Mav.net BBS section at Dallas games.

I haven't done this in a while, but "flame on" :

    HeyPartner,

First of all, I bought tickets apart from you guys because I wanted to sit behind the Rockets bench. I couldn't afford to do that when I was young, so I thought I'd finally do it now that I had the chance. You'll have to pardon me if sitting behind the Rockets bench at a home game when I live in Dallas is a bit more important to me than sitting in close proximity to you.

Secondly, don't pretend to know me. You're the biggest ass on this bbs and it's well-known. As many times as you open your trap, get b**** slapped, reprimanded, ridiculed, etc. you keep making the same damn mistakes over and over. Even a dog can be trained. What's your excuse?

If there is any doubt on that matter of you being an ass, you usually rise to the occasion to re-inforce the opinion without fail. This thread is pretty much an example. I have learned to generally ignore your dip**** ramblings because of this. I get along with pretty much everyone on this bbs, so don't make it out to be like I somehow alienate others from this bbs. As a matter of fact it was you who stated you didn't want to sit with younger people on this bbs at the game. It is you who constantly alienate the fantasy/sim league participants. It is you who constantly berate people who "dreamcast" trades, as you put it. Nice way to segregate the bbs on what was slowly becoming a tradition on this bbs to attend the last home game of the season.

Lastly, you say I wanted to buy the most "expense ticket". Whatever man. The last thing I do is flaunt wealth on this bbs. I flaunt wealth no more than you intentionally flaunt your ass of a personality. I mean you have an ass of a personality, but I'm sure it's not intentional. Or maybe I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt when saying that.

The more I think about this, the more I hate the fact you happen to be "in charge" of this. Quite frankly, your social r****dedness by itself is hard enough to put up with on a bbs, much less in person. I mean honestly, what is it with you? Were you born an ass, was it an acquired trait, or did something just happen?

    Manny,

Lighten up. Get over it. I bought you a ticket because you're taking the time to come to a Rockets function from out of town which I thought was admirable. I would have done the same for Crisco, but he had apparently already bought his tickets. I don't hate you - I can't; I don't know you. With all the "old man" lame-ass jokes you send my way, I sure as hell don't get pissed at you for them. Oh, but wait... those are ok, right? Of course you haven't run that into the ground as you stated above. I'd do a search for all of them, but hey, I pity the server. "Know what I mean?" Pot. Kettle. Black. But understood - no more jokes directed at Manny. I'll slowly learn from my mistakes. Lord knows I can admit when I make them and I've made quite a few, but I'm no hypocrite about them.

Why the hell do I get the feeling I'm going to be attending "The Addams Family Reunion at a Rockets Game"? I'm beginning to have second thoughts about this whole thing. Come to think of it, I've never sat behind the Rockets dancers - gosh I hope those are really really really expensive seats... hmmm... lol.

Damn, I go to bed early and miss all the fun.

Mullett? I'd kill for a mullett! I have no hair at all. A mullett would be a huge improvement!

    whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

I never realized all this animosity was for real. Common guys. Lets try to keep things cool here. It's bad enough when all the new guys get too serious with dissin one another, but y'all, all of you guys: DoD, HeyPisser, Smegg, Behad and the rest... Y'all are the backbone of the BBS.

I don't think being rude to one another is a good idea, especially if y'all are gonna be meeting up at a Rockets game.

Now maybe some apologies should be writtin and then someone can plan a pregame thingy. I'm going to try to come and would look forward to meeting you guys, ALL of you. It'd be cool to put a face to these names that I read almost everyday.

    DoD,

I'm sorry. I should have emailed you about this instead of talking about it here on the board. I broke one of my cardinal rules on this BBS in showing up another poster that I like and respect. I just wasn't in the best of moods last night (I never am on Tuesday because of this ******* professor I have), but that was no excuse to do what I did.

I guess I'm just a little sensitive, and although I try to not take things too seriously, I have also been told by people who know me that I pretty much let people sorta push me around or at least I did in the past.

For the record, I am looking forward to meeting each and every one of you at this game; however, I would be lying if I didn't say that I am really looking forward to meeting like Mango, The Cat, Smeg, and DoD, you are in that group.

BTW - If you have noticed, since you said that you were buying my ticket, I have quit with the old man jokes (even said I would do it in that thread). However, if they ever bothered you, I would have stopped sooner. As I said earlier, I should have emailed you about this instead of posting it here for the whole world to see.

I am sorry, and I hope that you'll accept my apology.

    Kim, Manny, et al...

Don't y'all recognize a good flame war when you see one? Geez, lighten up.

(Oops, I said "y'all"...is that too redneck for you, Smeg?)

Is their some type of manual or secret code book I need to know about too follow along with the conversations around here ?

No wonder it took me so long to get into this Internet/BBS thing.
    ;)

Looking forward to meeting you guys !
