Also, how would it affect roster limits? For example, if you have the maximum of 3 QBs and you place one of them on IR, are you allowed to grab another one from the waiver wire, giving you 4 total?

Crap, Miami traded Ogunleye to Chicago. He got so many sacks because he had Jason Taylor on the other side. Now teams can double team him. There goes my DL points.

Well that's how they usually work Fade. It's like the injured player isn't on your roster until he's healthy again. We had it last year and I don't think it was all that difficult. Those lil crosses next to your players would give the status of your players(turn red and say probable, questionable, doubtful, etc). If the site doesn't automatically update the player's status this year, then screw that, but I don't see why they wouldn't.

I would prefer an IR spot, but I could go either way really. If we do end up having one I think we should only be able to use it after the draft.

    Yeah, yeah, yeah.....:p:)

On a brighter note, Buckhalter is out for the season, leaving Westbrook as the feature back for Philly. If he stays healthy, he should have a great year.

Hate to burst your bubble with speculation but the NFL network today, said that Philly is expected to pick up a back thru a trade. Oakland was mentioned with Hambrick or Zeroue. They are also expected to look at 75 year old Dorsey Levens (not that that should scare Westbrook)

these are questions why i went against having an IL in our league

and until these are all clear and easy to manage then i say go without

we do have 8 bench spots for me that is plenty

It matters not. John Abraham is going to outscore every other DL by 2+ ppg anyway.

I don't want to make a big deal out of this but I would like to waive Buckhalter now and pick another back in the draft rather than waiting to grab one from the crap that will be left on the waiver wire. I understand those who would want me to wait until the draft is over but I'm not asking for compensation or anything, I only want to be able to fill a slot that I thought I had already filled, obviously injuries are a part of the game but I need to fill this hole with something better than what will be left after the draft.

PSJ. He has 45 minutes before his time expires and he gets skipped.

We've never allowed that before. I lost Vick last year during the draft, and the year before I lost a LB (I forget the name). You can't take someone away from the draft pool that others might want to draft.

Smeg, make my pick for me - the page isn't loading for me. Besides, I just remembered, I don't think I can make a pick until someone picks for PSJ anyway.
