boooo... I didn't want a top pick. anyway, when can I pick? I know we won't officially start until Sunday or Monday, but we might can get a few picks done (without a time limit) before that point. I'm pretty sure of who I will take, which is why I ask.
I'll take ten but nine woulda been better ahead of and not buried behind the Doc. Could somebody post the scoring rules, preferably somewhere on the first page so it's easier to find. TIA What if someone fails to make the time limit, forfeited pick?
By the way, most of us have been a part of this for several years, so we could have a cup for this whole thing. All you would need is a mini football helmet. Create a logo and stick it on. Whoever wins the cup keeps the mini for one month, sleeps with it, bathes with it, signs it with a Sharpie and with the year they won... and then sends it back to the commish for safe keeping until next season.
Will get Behad to get the scoring rules up soon, but really we can decide them now if people didn't like last years, let just fine them. we can start the draft whenever my thoughts on the time limit, were something like this, you have 12 hrs to pick after which time i think the rest of the participants will pick for you, say at least 5 to agree on the pick. But really i would hope after all these years if you can't send a list to Me or Behad, then it is really your fault.
Hey, I"ll have the page up tomorrow. Been busy all day, and now I'm dead tired. Smeg, once I get the page up, we can hold the draft on the page if you wish. Doesn't really matter, but it may make things easier. By the time you get up tomorrow, I should have it ready, we can look over the draft page (which can be set with a default time limit of 12 hours) and decide. If some folks want to go ahead and draft before then, those picks can be entered.
One last thing. Anyone who cares to make a $4 dollar donation (yes, $4 dollars, cause my math is really bad. It's $49 to renew, divided by 12 players) can just paypal me at behad@yahoo.com, or email me at the address and we can arrange something. This is totally voluntary, and totally anonimous. I'm gonna pay the $49 tomorrow, it'll just be a way of recouping for me. (and if you wish to go more than $4, that's fine too. If we get over $49, I'll refund the difference.)
Random thoughts: - I say we keep the same scoring system, or the same scoring system with very minor tweaks. - I like the d the way it is. - I don't like "kick returners" position. - If I were to make any tweaks at all it would be to alter the receiving scoring from 15 yards per point to 10 yards per point. Only to raise the value of wrs and tes a little.
