smeg, that is exactly what I was going to suggest. It is only fair that Rick have access to his team, and this seems to be the only way to do it.

Only if you agree to send Marshall Faulk my way for Travis Taylor.

    Seriously, though. Good idea.

    Hey guys,

I tried out Smeg's ID, and it got me into the league, but still wouldn't allow access to my team. I could view everything, but couldn't activitate the pull down bars and all. So I can be an observer, but for the time being no trades, substutions or waiver wire pick-ups. Looks like as soon as one or two of my players get an injury of any significance I'll be done. It was worth a try though.

I believe Smeg should be able to do at least the waiver wire pickups/starters thing for you since he is the commish. He picked up a guy for me off of waivers before.

    Dunno about trades tho.

EDIT: crap, forgot that you were logging in using his account. :(

That doesn't make sense. If you are logged in as smeg, you have access to everyone's team, unless the owner went in and changed their setting to not allow it. Your setting should be to allow the commish access to your team.

You must be doing something wrong. Ask smeg how it works (I am not familiar with Yahoo)

TO access the pull downs for your team thru Smegs log in you have to go to commissioner tools and use the edit rosters function. There you should be able to set your lineups and add or drop players.

    That's ridiculous.

For those that vetoed this trade, I'd really like to hear why... that was one of the most even looking deals that I've ever seen.

Also, I may trade Terrell Owens, for those that are interested. I'm not sure if I will, but I need more quality starters, so I may be interested in doing Owens + someone else for a couple of quality starters, hopefully including a RB. Troy Brown is also available, if you prefer him to Owens... basically everyone is outside of Aaron Brooks.

I didn't vote to veto the trade. I thought it was even enough.

Hell, I'm just happy I got a win, and with Smegville coming to town I get to win again this week!

Finn certainly had my number this week, beating me in both baseball and football.

Next time we meet, you're going down.

I voted against that trade. Vick is smeg's best player. Why would he want to trade for Trent Green and Duce Staley? Vick will put up the same, if not more, fantasy points than those 2 combined. Duce will go down with an injury any week now, and even if he doesn't McNabb is the teams leading rusher.

That trade wouldn't help smeg at all.

Sure Finn, I guess that's why his "best player" is sitting on the bench behind McNair. Also good to see you're so great at predicting injuries.

At least you have the balls to admit why you vetoed it tho.

IMO, trades should only be vetoed if it's collusion(no one would do that in the clutch leagues imo) or if it's such a bad trade that it would imbalance the league as far as talent goes(which I don't think this trade does in the slightest), not simply cuz you wouldn't do the trade. If that was the case I'd probly veto almost every trade.

    but whatever.
