I'd love to play this year..... I'm hoping to get in at least 2 or 3 leagues.

I like Yahoo, I usually pay for the Stat Tracker.

not sure about 16 teams, is the player talent that deep??

or can we change the line-up requirements... maybe less players on each team???

    any ideas??

Don't feel that you have to change the rules or anything to make a spot for me. If there's no space, there's no space.

Crisco, Pued & jent have yet to respond. My guess is that jent and CK will almost definitely return. Not sure about Pued.

how do people feel about the scoring system..... line-ups etc from last year???

the one thing i was thinking is with 14 teams the depth is very thin, was thinking of maybe reducing both the playing roster (maybe one less off and def utility) and also the bench sizes

depth was the one thing I wished were better. It was bad when you had a guy go out injured and you had to pck up a guy that may only play 5 downs a game.

If indeed that's a problem, cutting the roster size would help by putting better players on the waiver wire. I'm ok with that. Doesn't matter to me.

5 RB/WRs total is the norm for most 14 team leagues. I don't think the talent pool is too thin at all. Besides, I like the challenge of having to find successful lesser known players. Makes things more interesting. It's what seperates the men from the boys. Reducing the bench size would be okay, but I would rather keep the 3 player offense flex system.

The defensive flex slot should probably be dropped, though, since I think it gives too much weight to defensive scoring. Three defensive players (DL, DB, LB) are enough.

I'm with you Fade, less talent on the wire awards players who pay close attention to the games and injury status of star players.

The way to fix the depth problem is to limit teams to 3 QB's,5 RB's & WR's.

I remember somebody last year had like 5 or 6 QB's while somebody else had 8 WR's. Put a limit on how many players a team is allowed to have at each position and you won't have one player collecting all the QB's, etc... That should also leave some good players on the waiver wire for the entire season.

Also 2 defensive starters (any position) is plenty with a limit of 4 defensive players allowed per roster.

    Just my opinion:cool:
