I love sleeping - I could sleep 10 hours or more a day, lol. That's why back in the spring of 2022 when I went about 4 straight days without any sleep, I literally lost my mind. I am doing much better now when it comes to the sleep department. Here are some things that I have learned that helps me go to sleep: 1) Try to go to bed at the same time every night 2) Don't watch TV in the bed - always watch TV in a room where you are not going to go to sleep 3) Taking naps are OK (I actually try to take a nap every day) but don't sleep for more than a hour and a half 4) If I am able to go walking early in the evening that will help me sleep better 5) Don't exercise at night (like 2 hours or below from when you are going to go to sleep) 6) Have your room comfortable temperature wise and dark 7) Get in a comfortable position and try to let your mind go blank 8) Avoid any heavy stuff, drama, etc. before you go to bed - it will cause your mind to race and think about it all night.
My experience of trial and error yt/IG/tok health hippy videos over the years. Every influencer talks about cold showers benefits but scientifically it brings your heart rate down which you need to fall asleep. And coffee blocks the sleep inhibitors, it doesn't give you energy according to some new study
Sleeping might be the healthiest thing anyone can do. The human body is excellent at healing itself. Sleep maximizes the process.
Sleep for a maximum of 8 hours, anymore and you'll just get groggy and be inefficient with your day. Napping is only good for some, and not for others.
Stuff is good and healthy. Had regular coffee for the first time in a minute and it tasted like raid.
