How about a trade? Walker for Dampier/Eschmeyer Dallas gets their starting center, but has to take a bad contract with it. Golden State picks up a $14.625 million expiring contract & gets to move Eschmeyer's remaining 3 year $10+ million contract off the books. The net result is an extra $3.4 million off the cap next year. Thus, reducing their team payroll to around $33-34 million. That'd make Golden State a serious player in free agency next year. I sure hope, for their fan's sake, that GS isn't planning on selling the farm for a shot at Yao.
