    I'm not a T-Mac fan. I'm a Rockets fan.

    I'm also a realist.

He'll prostitute himself on a team like the Spurs, Celtics or somebody like that. He definitely wont get $8M, though.

And did you really say "best player of all-time?" Are you Charles Barkley in disguise?

Nope, I can agree with what Barkley said about Sheed. If Sheed was actually determined and motivated to be the GOAT, he could be. No other player aside from Derrick Coleman were capable of having a great post-up game and a great 3 point shooting game.

Although T-Mac is better than Sheed, since Sheed is never motivated in the 1st place. I was just making a point, that he's a complete waste of talent.

Sorry, there is no way Rasheed would have ever been better than Jordan. And that's if you even consider Jordan the GOAT. He wouldn't have even been better than Jabbar, Chamberlain, Olajuwon, etc.

    Barkley overstates everything

Rasheed Wallace didn't know how to pick up fouls his post moves consisted of a turnaround jumpshot, he was too perimeter happy.

yes he was a good athlete, yes he could defend but he was a solid player not a all-star caliber every year, its what you do with what you have, not what you could have been that counts the most.

I was just restating what Barkley said about his opinion on those guys. Saying if they actually had the motivation and determination to be the best they could be. They are both just wasted talents.

He'd make a great backup for Yao.

Agreed. Well, sort of. I always imagined my back up centers cleaning up the glass and roaming the paint instead of chucking 3-pointers. But other than that, I agree his experience and still superior post defense would be valuable.

Would he accept a back up role?

Probably not if it means backup money. I'd rather get some desparate, eager big from Dleague or someone undrafted than get Sheed for peanuts. At that amount, you seriously can't expect he'll put out the effort (he made 14 million this year and didn't do anything), and when he's unmotivated all he'll do is chuck 3 pointers and forget about everything else...

The whole point is a "could have." you're simply pointing flaws in his game that he never bothered to correct.

Sheed is a lazy player in all aspects. He hangs out on the perimeter for a reason. He takes lazy 3s and long jumpshots when he has the physical skills and talent to dominate on the interior. I'm not sure he'd be the GOAT but he could easily be one of the greatest power forwards in the NBA if he actually put his talent to use. A power forward with that kind of range and a mature post game could easily dominate the league. Not to mention he had the capability to be a phenomenal defender. He did neither and wasted a potential HOF career. Barkley may overstate Sheed's potential but his ceiling was as high as almost any other player to ever play the game.

LMAO!!! Are we serious here???!!! Are we even debating that 'Sheed could of possibly been GOAT?!! I don't think a committed, healthy, on steroids, kryptonite 'Sheed would of been the best at his position. I would take Duncan, Garnett, Malone, Barkely, over Wallace. GOAT, give me a break.

Good. Go away, Rasheed. You're an idiot who has been overrated for the last 3-5 years.

Rasheed and T-mac on the same team? Wow I would gouge my eyes out watching their brand of basketball. watching two aging chuckers chuck will be extremely offensive to my basketball sense.

Barkley also once said Derrick Coleman could have been the greatest PF of all time.

The guy sleptwalked through a CONTRACT YEAR, killed the Pistons with his bad D, no rebounds, and perimeter crap.

What's he gonna do in a new team, with new excuses ("y'all don't have the fire that the Pistons had"), and a new contract?

Are you kidding me, Scola is a lot better player. This season all Rasheed has done was standing and shooting 3s and jumpers. I haven't seen him driving to the rim.

    He SUCKS.

Had Sheed come with drive, determination, and a will to do what it takes to win, he absolutely could have been on par with Duncan, if not slightly better with his athleticism. Not GOAT, but *possibly* in the mix for greatest PF of all time.

But what ifs mean squat. He goes down at best at the bottom of the list of the top 50 PFs in NBA history.
