So, Phoenix has crappy-ass weather and grumpy-ass people?

Theres Phoenix.... then there is Scottsdale.

Its the haves, and have nots. Phoenix is pretty ghetto, and doesn't really have a neat downtown area like alot of cool big cities. Scottsdale is like the desert version of the Woodlands just in the middle of the desert. The Phoenix area is really not as big as you would think. Not much really to do in the actual city.

I personally love Phoenix because you can make a weekend trip out of anything. You are only hours away from Vegas, Skiing/snowboarding, mountain biking, and a weekend trip away from the Beach in Cali. Thats the great part about Phoenix, but for a professional athlete, It wouldnt really be my first choice because you dont really have the time for road trips anyways. Houston is the better "city" by far, and being in the Center of the US is ideal for travel. Plus the state tax in Arizona cuts your paychecks down quite a bit.

Im almost positive Slovenia did not qualify for the Olympics if I can remember correctly. He should have a few free weeks until he has to make the July 11th decision.

You remember correctly. Slovenia did not qualify for the Olympics nor the Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
