I can speak for myself in that I never used the word "clean" (articulate, insightfull, keen, impressive writing--those are the kinds of words I used), Personally don't remember others using "clean" or making a deal of it, except for you. Maybe others did, but you would have to dig. Like I said, if you look hard enough, sure you will find flaws in Thomas writings. Most seem to pick up the difference between the meat of what Etan said and Andrew said, rather than deem it "ironic" in appreciating what Etan said (are you implying they are one in the same?-same level of thought, same level of stereotype provoking, same insight--thus ironic that either side would receive praise?). Seems like you didn't consider the context of why Etan said what he did and the examples he used. Or rather you did grasp this, but instead want to focus on bits of literal, out of context, text to: 1) support an assumption you have about those making positive comments about Etan, and/or 2) just want to be irritating/try to get under others skin (bring in the whole Bidenism/clean thing). Now granted, I know I am not a great writer, hopefully you can grasp the meat of my points and apologies in advance if my writing isn't as "clean" to your taste.
