    Yes, you are right. Anything can happen. I believe Morey is a pretty good persuader, although I have no evidence of it.

    I don't see Dallas being a player for Melo without an extension. They'd have to give up guys do little to make them a better team and even moreso if Melo bolts at the end of the season. I may have Rocket red colored glasses here, but they seem a better fit to do a deal without an extension because they have some expiring contracts, young talent and picks to offer. Then if Melo bolts, we have his salary slot to go shopping next summer.

    I think Dallas would be a team someone like Anthony would be willing to sign an extension with.

    If Melo is really looking for money... why wouldn't he sign that $65 million, 3 year deal with Nuggets? I'm sure money is only a small factor, he is definitely looking for a ring.
