Skipping Senior Year of High School to Play Professional Ball

    This is the future of prep stars since the High Schools and NCAA makes a ton of money from these kids but won let them take even a free sandwhich in return. I have no problem with the kid getting paid to do his profession, beats dropping out and flipping burgers at McDs which a ton of kids do anyway. The whole minimum wage industry is based on this stuff. More power to you if you can exploit the system and get paid sooner than later. This could be a very good alternative to kids jumping from HS to the NBA. Go play ball for another professional team, make a living and learn something about the world and it works. This way we would have fewer Kwame Browns.

    Ditto what most everyone else has said.

    And I'd rather see college basketball not have to deal with one year rentals.

    No doubt. . . better to blow out his knee his last year in high school
    get his GED and still have the exact same ability to get to college
